THE dress, THE shot, in the papers.

I grabbed a few different newspapers, first thing this morning, eager to see what pictures editors chose from the Royal Wedding. The Daily Mail, and The Guardian took two very different approaches to wedding day coverage illustrating a political divide between pro-monarchy Royalists and their more critical Republican counterparts (if you visit the links above you'll see the same division repeated on their websites, as The Daily Mail posts official wedding photos dead center while The Guardian chose a more subdued, and much smaller, photo of the new couple just left of center).

Incidentally, the official wedding photos, posted by the Daily Mail, are gorgeous, but either got a scoop before the rest of the media or are slightly misinformed about the honeymoon.

"Up, up and away: The couple walked across a gravel path in the palace gardens to a waiting maroon helicopter which whisked them away for their honeymoon," reads the website, but other news agencies report that the couple delayed their honeymoon as they return home today instead.

Regardless of the royal couples' future plans, here's what you'll see in papers today.
